All the buildings
required to build Stalag Luft III POW camp will be featured here - free
to download.
The files are in PDF file format, which simply means you
need to install Adobe Acrobat in order to load the files and print them. Adobe
Acrobat Reader is totally free - and available for both MAC and PC. Simply
click the icon above download and install.
Print the PDF files using
good quality ink jet paper for best results. I recommend Epson Photo Quality
Matte Heavyweight paper - but there's probably an HP equivalent - don't use the
glossy stuff or you'll have shiny buildings. Set your printer settings to
maximum quality rather than speed printing.
Having printed out the
files - cut out using a scalpel and a ruler and glue the templates onto heavy
card. I strongly recommend you obtain some 'mounting board' from either an Art
Supply Store, or a Picture Framer - its the stuff they use to frame a picture
with. It's good and strong and cuts well with a sharp knife. Use PVA glue to
assemble the buildings and reinforce the structure inside buy making a 'floor'
but gluing half way up the walls inside rather than on the bottom. |
